Willy Woo discusses the Bitcoin price and how this bull market is different than the last. In the past, Bitcoin has been known for its blow off tops and major drops of over 80% of its original value. Though still volatile, is it possible that Bitcoin has matured a little when it comes to price action? Will the there be another parabolic surge followed with a bust cycle?
The case can certainly be made that with institutional investors now on board, Bitcoin will behave differently this time around. Institutions tend to make long term strategic investments. Instead of Bitcoin’s volatile price surges and declines historically produced by retail FOMO (fear of missing out) and FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt)… this time we may see Bitcoin melt upward with less volatility.
