Technocracy

The control of society by elite technical experts. Social media platforms such as Facebook are an example of a technocracy. The protocols that govern the Facebook platform are controlled by the developers at Facebook. With open-source, public blockchains, people have the power to reclaim their digital sovereignty and reinvent the internet. We, the people, can control the protocols through blockchain; rather than giving up our digital voices to the technocratic elites.
