The founder pseudonym used by the founder of Bitcoin. It has also become to be known as the smallest unit of a Bitcoin, which is one hundred millionth of a Bitcoin (0.00000001). This enables micropayment through Bitcoin. Some fun math: when Bitcoin is worth a million US dollars per Bitcoin, a Satoshi will then be worth the equivalent of a penny.
