Wallet

A crypto wallet is where cryptocurrency is stored.  There are different kinds of crypto wallets.  Most commonly, people store their crypto on either a hardware wallet (like Trezor or Ledger), or on a software wallet (like Metamask). There are also exchange wallets for storage of crypto on a Crypto exchange (like Coinbase or Binance). Holding crypto on an exchange wallet is not recommended though, as you do not hold the keys to these wallets and exchanges have been hacked in the past. The safest place to hold your crypto is in a hardware wallet; if this option is unavailable then holding crypto on a software wallet is your next best choice.
